The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Trofa Health Group opened its tenth hospital and recruited 500 workers. In this tenth unit of the group, around 500 jobs have been created, of which 300 are related to medical and nursing personnel who will work full time or under a service regime, the rest of the jobs are related to the areas administration or maintenance.
This new private hospital offers more than 40 health related services and runs 24 hours a day, every day of the week.
By the end of the year Trofa Health Group will open another day hospital in Guimarães. At present, the group has seven hospitals and three day hospitals in Portugal and employs 5,000 workers.
