European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Directorate-General of Traffic (Dirección General de Tráfico - DGT), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Interior of Spain which is responsible for the Spanish road transport network, will recruit 126 new traffic examiners for driving licenses at national level. This increase in staff comes after a strike of more than five months by the examiners’ trade union to complain about the staff deficit. Since 2009, the workforce of traffic examiners decreased from about 900 workers to about 740 in June 2017.
