European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Online banking app Monzo has announced plans to open a new call centre in Cardiff, creating 312 jobs in the process. The jobs are being supported by a grant from the Welsh Government of GBP 950,000 (€1.07 million) and will add to the 32,000 people employed within Wales in the call centre industry. The jobs will be added over a period of four years and hiring for the new positions is already underway; as of January 2019, Monzo employs around 500 workers at its headquarters in London.
