The retailer Système U has announced the recruitment of 1,000 employees on permanent contracts over five years, out of a total workforce of 4,700 employees employed in the 29 System U warehouses in France. Among the announced job creations 100 will take place at the Carquefou site, near Nantes, currently employing 364 employees. The Director of Logistics reports difficulties in recruiting for occupations such as reception of goods; storage; preparation; shipping; and delivery.
