Description
Bombardier has announced plans to create 300 new jobs at its site in Derby in order to meet demand over the coming two years. The manufacturer is looking to hire both mechanical and electrical assemblers and has engaged recruitment specialist Shorterm Group to help find suitable employees. There is no information available as to when all the new positions will be filled, though recruitment is underway and there is a recruitment day at Derby County's Pride Park set for later in March 2019.
A worldwide restructure of the business took place in 2018, which resulted in a total of 5,000 job losses.
