Engineering company Terex has announced plans to open a new site in Derry, Northern Ireland, which will result in the creation of 100 jobs. The development is being supported by a grant of close to one million GBP (€1.16 million) from Invest NI. The business will manufacture equipment used in the waste management and recycling sectors. Roles on offer at the factory include research and development positions, management jobs and production operatives. The site will be operational some time in 2019 with the jobs being filled over a three to four year period.
