European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Polish mining company Polska Siarka has announced that it will create 100 jobs at its Kopalnia Siarki Basznia (Sulphur Mine Basznia) near Lubaczów, Poland. The mine was officially opened on 8th May 2019, and Polska Siarka has invested about PLN 100 million (€23.17million) in the mine and sulphur processing plant. The sulphur mine is going to be the largest production factory in the community and one of the most prominent in the region of Lubaczów.
Polska Siarka is a part of PBI Group, the Polish group specialising in the mining and processing of chemical minerals.
