Professional online network LinkedIn is planning to hire an extra 500 personnel by the summer 2020. The new roles will be in sales, finance and analytics. The media is reporting 800 new positions, but 300 of these have already been filled; 100 roles are expected to be filled soon, with the remaining 400 positions to be filled by summer 2020. When the recruitment is completed, the company will employ 2000 people in Ireland. LinkedIn, which is owned by Microsoft, has its EMEA headquarters based in Dublin.
