The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Portuguese private healthcare group Lusiadas Saude announced the opening of a new hospital in the city of Braga. The inauguration is expected to take place in December 2019, relying on a team of 400 medical staff. This project results from a partnership with Santa Casa da Misericórdia of Braga and is planned to occupy part of the facilities of the former São Marcos hospital.
Lusíadas Saúde has a network of 12 hospitals and clinics throughout the country. More than one million consultations and 42,000 surgeries per year are provided by the group.
