Producer of bike frames AG Motors has announced that 200 jobs will be created at its newly opened factory and R&D centre in Podgrodzie, Poland. The robotised aluminium frame factory, with a capacity of 1,500 units per day and 400,000 annually, has been opened on 7 August 2019. The factory it's the first of its kind in Europe and an example of industry 4.0 state of the art. AG Motors has invested over EUR 10million (PLN 40million) in the factory and research and development centre (the R&D centre was co-financed by the European Union).
AG Motors was founded in 2009. The company provides components (including frames, rims, handlebars or saddles) for the bicycle industry.
