European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Japanese car manufacturer Toyota Manufacturing Poland has announced that it will create 200 new jobs at its plant in Jelcz-Laskowice. The business expansion programme is associated with the production of the latest models of hybrid engines which was officially launched in September 2019.
In Poland, Toyota has two production facilities located in Jelcz-Laskowice and Wałbrzych. As of Semptember 2019, the company employs 450 people at the unit in Jelcz-Laskowice. Previous business expansions were announced in September 2018 (150 new jobs) and February 2019 (150 new jobs).
