European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Poultry processing company Podtatranska hydina announced the closure of its site in Kezmarok with the collective dismissal of 394 employees, according to sources from the local office of the public employment service. According to reports, collective dismissals shall be completed by 1 October 2019. There is no information yet about the causes of the redundancies, but a collective dismissal is planned in another poultry company Hydina Slovensko in Lieskove near Zvolen during the same timeframe.
The company was established in 1978 and operates as a shareholder company since 1992.
