European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Defence contractor QinetiQ has announced plans to create 100 new jobs following the award of a major contract by the British Ministry of Defence. The jobs will be created at the firm's site in Malvern and will be involved with the development of satellite navigation systems which will be used by the UK's armed forces in their drones. Presently, there is no target date for filling the vacancies. In addition, work will also be created for another local subcontractor - Collins Aerospace.
The local Member of Parliament congratulated the business on the award of this new contract.
