The fast-food company McDonald's opened three new restaurants in Bollnäs, Ödeshög and Nykvarn in December 2019, creating 150 new jobs - 60 of those in Nykvarn, 50 in Bollnäs and 40 in Ödeshög. The new roles will be in the field of gastronomy. During 2019 the company has optimised the chain in Sweden by opening seven new restaurants in different parts of the country, while it also closed down some unprofitable plants. In 2020, McDonald’s plans to add five new restaurants in Sweden.
